The outputs from our quadrant position sensitive photodiode module are:
1. The combined outputs of the quadrant position sensitive photodiode's two right elements (quadrants) less the combined outputs of the quadrant position sensitive photodiode's two left elements (quadrants). This gives the horizontal beam position.
2. The combined outputs of the quadrant position sensitive photodiode's two top elements (quadrants) less the combined outputs of the quadrant position sensitive photodiode's two bottom elements (quadrants). This gives the vertical beam position
3. The combined outputs of all the quadrant position sensitive photodiode's quadrants . This gives the beam's relative intensity.
