Phresh Photonics currently offers three versions of our Microdrivers along with a fully compatible control unit.
These Miropositioners are precision linear motion motorized micrometers. The tip of the MicroDriver does not rotate as the lead tube progresses, allowing for smooth positioning. The MicroDriver also has an encoder output of two phases to provide position and direction of travel. It is driven by a self-contained 12 volt motor. The MicroDriver has reduced sensitivity to side loads on the tip and consequently resists binding resulting from these forces.
Each of these micropositioning microdrivers offer a resolution of 0.059 microns.
Each micropositioner is available with a variety of tips and is both small and rugged.
